Good morning - As a reminder to our Title I families, there is a Title One Open House in Mrs. Wieman's room this afternoon from 3:45-6:30. Parents of elementary age students in the title program are invited to stop in, learn more about Title and pick up some resources to use at home. Use the doors on the east side of the big gym.

Marion FCCLA and Hailey Stahl are teaming up to host Freeman Academy/Marion's 8th Annual Pink Night, “These Paws Dig Pink,” at our home game against Alcester-Hudson on Tuesday, October 22, 2024. Our goal is to fill the stands with Volleyball fans dressed in “pink.” Both teams will be wearing “pink” warm-up shirts, and extra t-shirts and breast cancer merchandise will be available for purchase at the game. Marion FCCLA will also have a 50/50 and a merchandise raffle during the game night. All proceeds will go to help buy supplies to be donated back to the Avera Cancer Center and Sanford Women's Center. Below is an order form for the “Pink Nightshirt” we will sell. Please return your order form to any Marion/Freeman Academy, Alcester-Hudson office, or Anne Pankratz at the High School by noon, October 15, 2024. Please make checks payable to Marion FCCLA. If you are interested in making a donation to the cause, please contact Anne Pankratz at anne.pankratz@k12.sd.us. Please follow the link below to fill out the order form and return it with a check or cash made out to Marion FCCLA, shirts are $20. Thanks! https://5il.co/2xh1n

Good morning, Marion Families, We have a few important reminders for this week: 1.Picture Retakes: Tomorrow, September 25th, we will have retake pictures. If your child needs a retake or didn’t take pictures at the open house, please let their teacher know. We’ll also be taking Fall sports pictures on the same day. 2.Pep Band Concert: On Thursday, September 26th, the Marion Pep Band will host a concert at Hieb Memorial Park starting at 7:00 PM. They will be selling pop floats for $2 each. We encourage everyone to come out and support our Pep Band! 3.Help Day: On Friday, September 27th, from 8:30 AM to 11:30 AM, Help Day will be held for all students. Any middle school and high school students who are on the missing assignments list are required to attend until all missing work is completed. If students cannot attend, they will need to stay after school the following week for 3 hours to catch up. You can help keep track of your child's assignments by checking in with them each night or using the parent portal. Thank you for your support, and have a great week!
