Reminder that the weather is changing. Please send your students with appropriate clothing per the weather. Elementary goes outside for recess twice a day. They will play inside when the weather is below zero. Please send a coat, hats, and gloves for colder days.

Parent teachers conferences is this week on Thursday 10/06/2022 from 1:30 pm-7:00 pm. School will be dismissed at 12:30 on Thursday. There will NOT be a book fair at this time.
The strength program at Marion school is putting a fundraiser on at the Marion, freeman, freeman- academy homecoming football game Friday night tickets will be sold by the entrance of the field near admissions. All of the proceeds will go towards improving our weight room at the Marion school.
The price of tickets are $10 per ticket or 5 tickets for $40

Friday September 30th the Junior Class will be hosting a tailgate at the football field starting at 6pm for the Homecoming game versus Gayvile-Volin. This is free will donation. All proceeds will go to Prom.
Auditions for the One-Act Play will be all day, Wednesday, October 5th. This year, we are doing a rollicking fairy tale comedy called "Furry Tails with a Twist." There will be an audition sign-up sheet posted, and scripts are available for check-out in Ms. Schanzenbach's room. All students grades 7th-12th are eligible to audition. Unlike the Spring musical, roles are limited, so students are urged to have fun and not hold back! The majority of rehearsals will be during study hall, with occasional Fridays. If parents have any questions, or would like a copy of the tentative rehearsal schedule, please email Ms. S at sarah.schanzenbach@k12.sd.us
Regional One-Act competition will take place in mid-to-late January.
