SOCCER SCHEDULE CHANGES: Tomorrow's game against West Central will be moved to Thursday at 5:00. Because of injury they will not have enough players for a JV game so it will only be a varsity game. Only the varsity roster will travel. We have scheduled a JV game that will follow our Varsity game at Dakota Valley this Saturday. All soccer players will travel on Saturday. Freeman Academy will pickup Marion players at 8:30 at the school.

The JV soccer game on Saturday at Sioux Falls Christian has been cancelled due to forecasted high temperatures. We are looking to reschedule We will let you know as soon as we find out.

Coach Besseman has moved Cross Country practice for Friday, August 11th to 6 a.m.
You are all invited to a soccer pep rally on Friday, August 11 at 6:30 pm in Sterling Hall on the campus of Freeman Academy.
They will be serving grilled hotdogs, taverns, chips and drinks – donations will be accepted to help support the soccer team.

Good afternoon - Reminder that open house is today from 1-7PM. Please bring all paperwork (including Free/Reduced forms) necessary for registration. Sneak peak of our current Varsity and JV volleyball players along with our future players. The Varsity and JV Volleyball teams hosted a volleyball camp for two evenings for grades 1st-6th. Oh the fun they had!
Attention Dual Credit students. On Monday August 7th, Mrs. Timmerman and Mrs. Yusella will be at the school to set up dual credit classes and pass out laptops to dual credit students from 11:00am-1:00pm. The rest of the laptops and Chromebook will be passed out to students during Open House on August 8th, 1:00pm-7:00pm.

The Marion After Prom committee is in need of volunteers to help their fundraiser of directing traffic at the Turner County Fair. We have multiple shifts on Tuesday, August 15 and Wednesday, August 16. Please contact Jen Weber at 605-351-6654 to sign up for a shift.
For all students grades 9th-12th for this upcoming school year, football practice starts August 3rd in Freeman 4pm-6pm. We highly encourage all students to partake in the amazing atmosphere of the Marion, Freeman, Freeman Academy Phoenix football team.
Equipment students need: Cleats.
Equipment provided: Helmets, shoulder pads, practice and game uniforms.
On August 10th, a scrimmage will be held in Freeman from 7 PM-8 PM. All students and parents are welcome.
The coaching staff is excited for the upcoming season and to see our athletes excel, as well as our seeing our great fans back in the stands!
