Today, our 3rd-5th grade class had the wonderful opportunity to explore the fascinating world of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) projects during our free time. It was a fantastic chance for our students to engage in hands-on learning experiences and discover the wonders of STEM in a fun and interactive way.
STEM education is crucial in preparing our students for the challenges and opportunities of the future, and I am thrilled that our class had the chance to delve into this exciting field today. By participating in STEM projects, our students not only develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills but also foster a love for learning and exploration.
I commend our students for their enthusiasm and curiosity, and I want to express my gratitude to our educators for providing such enriching learning opportunities. Together, we are empowering our students to become lifelong learners and innovative thinkers.
Here's to many more exciting STEM adventures in the future!

Connecting with another class through pen pal letters is such a wonderful experience for students. Meeting face-to-face must have been a highly anticipated moment for both the Marion School District and Menno School District 3rd graders. These interactions not only foster friendships but also promote cultural exchange and empathy. It's fantastic to see schools coming together to create these opportunities for their students to connect and learn from one another. Kudos to Mr. Gross and Mrs. Massey for their initiative and dedication in organizing such a meaningful experience for the students.
On Wednesday our awesome kitchen crew and some helpers put together a fantastic picnic-style lunch for everyone at Marion School.
It was a perfect day to be outside, and the weather totally cooperated. The kids and staff had a blast eating together outdoors and enjoying the fresh air.
We served up some delicious turkey and cheese subs, along with carrots, fruit cups, choice of milk, and of course, dessert. It was a hit!
It's moments like these that really bring our school community together. Huge shout out to the kitchen crew and helpers for making it happen!
