BearCare has been busy the past few weeks with lots of fun activities! They visited the Freeman Library, where they learned about weather science through hands-on activities. They also enjoyed a trip to Schmeckfest, learning how to make butter and participating in many other engaging experiences. To top it all off, they celebrated with a pizza party at Donlan’s—thank you to the Marion community for your continued support! BearCare has had a blast! 🍕🎉

Dear parents of Middle School students: On May 6 we will be taking a field trip to the Ashfall Fossil bed historical park in Nebraska. Because of the length of travel, we will need to leave by 7:15am sharp. Please make sure that your students arrive ON TIME so we won’t be late. Students can bring their own sack lunch or get a sack lunch from the school. I need to get permission for every student to attend. Your child should be bringing home a permission slip but you can also email me to give permission. Thanks! Mrs. Friesen Lacey.friesen@k12.sd.us

Due to the weather expected on Friday, Avon has decided that they will combine their Varsity meet with the JH Meet tomorrow. With the added HS events, they will start the JH Field events at 12:45 and running events at 1:00. The Parker/Marion Varsity track team will still be traveling to Lennox tomorrow as scheduled.
